Perm Gardens Baptist 'Church started in 1986 through Blackheath Baptist Church under the leadership of Brother David Lippen. Since the fellowship was too near to Blackheath Baptist church, the venue was moved more central to the Blue downs area.
The work was then taken further under the leadership of Brother George Schuller as from April 1988 from the residence of Elder Johensen. Then God opened a door in a small garage which later became too small as the membership grew rapidly.
During the December month of 1990 the fellowship moved to a house in the Perm Gardens area. In 1994 the fellowship bought a property in Perm Gardens and started construction of a church building.
Currently, the building is completed and God is continually adding membership to our church. We believe that God will continually bless our church and save souls for His kingdom.
